ELC-17th Day - सत्रहवाँ दिन

17th Day - Today we shall learn about sentences of Compulsion and few important words. When there is compulsion or one does not want to do willingly, it is expressed with compulsion sentences.

Sentences of Compulsion

We have learnt about Tenses and crossed a big milestone. Knowledge of tenses is the most basic part of learning English. For expressing all sort of thoughts, sentiments, emotions and situations in English, there are certain rules. From today onwards, we shall start learning about them.

An action is to be done by a person (Subject). There may be two situations - (1) Subject wants to do that action willingly; and (2) Subject does not want to do that action willingly. In second situation the person wil do that action in compulsion. When there is any sort of compulsion in doing a thing or action, we express it by compulsion sentences. To express compulsion, 'to' is added after auxiliary verbs as described below:

Has to/Have to Present Tense
Had to Past Tense
Will/Shall have to Future Tense



मजबूरी वाले वाक्य 

हमने टेन्स सीख कर एक बड़ा मील का पत्थर पार किया है । इंग्लिश सीखने के लिये टेन्स की जानकारी बहुत जरूरी अधारभूत हिस्सा है । सभी प्रकार के विचारों, भावनाओं और परिस्थितियों को व्यक्त करने के लिये इंग्लिश भाषा में कुछ नियम है । आज से हम उनके बारे में सीखना आरंभ करेंगे ।.

एक कार्य एक व्यक्ति (कर्ता) के द्वारा होना है । वहां दो परिस्थितियां हो सकती है - (1) कर्ता वह कार्य मन से करना चाहता है; और (2) कर्ता वह कार्य मन से नही करना चाहता है । दूसरी परिस्थिति में कर्ता वह कार्य किसी मजबूरी में करेगा । मजबूरी किसी भी प्रकार की हो सकती है । जब किसी कार्य को करने में किसी भी प्रकार की मजबूरी हो, तो इनको हम मजबूरी वाले वाक्यो से व्यक्त करते हैं । मजबूरी व्यक्त करने के लिये 'To' को 'has / have / had / will have / shall have' के बाद लगाते है, जैसा की ऊपर वर्णित किया गया है ।

Negative Subject + Has /Have /Had /Will have /Shall have + Not + To + Verb (Ist form) + Object + (.)
Interrogative Has /Have /Had /Will have /Shall have + Subject + To + Verb (Ist form) + Object + (?)
Interrogative & Negative Has /Have /Had /Will have /Shall have + Subject + Not + To + Verb (Ist form) + Object + (?)

मेरे भाई को रोज सुबह 5 बजे उठना पड़ता है । My brother has to get up at 5 o'clock every morning.
मुंबई में मेरे भाई को रोज सुबह 4 बजे उठना पड़ता था । My brother had to get up at 4 o'clock every morning in Mumbai.
जयपुर में मेरे भाई को रोज सुबह 6 बजे उठना पड़ेगा । In Jaipur, my brother will have to get up at 6 o'clock every morning.
हमें इस कॉलेज में जुर्माना देना पड़ता है We have to pay fine in this college.
जॉन को स्कूल छोड़ना पड़ा । John had to leave the school.
रजनी और अंकित को रोज सुबह जल्दी ऑफिस जाना पड़ेगा । Rajni and Ankit will have to go to office daily early in the morning.
राजू को अपने पिता जी का कहना मानना पड़ेगा । Raju will have to obey his father.
सरकारी हॉस्पिटल में मरीज को घंटो इंतज़ार करना पड़ेगा । Patient will have to wait for hours in government hospital.
शरारती बच्चों को क्लास में लेक्चर सुनना पड़ता था । Naughty boys had to listen to lecture in the class.
मुझे इंग्लिश सीखनी पड़ती है । I have to learn English.
पंजाब में बच्चों को पंजाबी भाषा सीखनी पड़ती है । In Punjab, students have to learn Punjabi language.



हर प्रदेश में विद्यार्थियों को प्रादेशिक भाषा सीखनी पड़ती है । In all States, students have to learn the regional language.
कुछ भी करने से पहले मुझे मेरे भाई की अनुमति लेनी पड़ती है । I have to take permission of my brother before doing anything.
मेट्रो स्टेशन से ऑफिस तक नेहा को रोज पैदल जाना पड़ता है । Neha has to go on foot daily from Metro Station to office.
मधुर को आज निकलना ही है । Madhur has to leave today.
मुझे यह काम दिसंबर'13 से पहले करना ही है । I have to complete this work before December'13.
मुझे कल वर्तिका से मिलना ही है । I have to meet Vartika tomorrow.
मुझे कल हॉस्पिटल में डॉक्टर से मिलने के लिये तीन घंटे लाइन में इंतज़ार करना पड़ा । I had to wait for three hours in queue to see the doctor in Hospital yesterday.
हमे वहां बहुत कष्ट सहना पड़ा । We had to endure a lot of trouble there.
मेरी बहू को कुछ भी नही सहना पड़ेगा । My daughter-in-law will not have to endure anything.
मुझे उसके बारे में कुछ करना पड़ेगा । I will have to do something about him.
उसको नौकरी छोड़नी पड़ेगी । She will have to leave the job.
