The Verb - क्रिया

क्रियाओं के रूपों की एक छोटी संकलित सूची नीचे दी गई है। अंग्रेजी सीखने में क्रियाओं के रूपों का सीखना आवश्यक है।

A short compiled list of forms of verbs is given below. Learning of forms of verbs is essential in learning English.

क्रियाओं के रूपों की उपरोक्त सूची से आप देखेंगे कि कुछ क्रियाएँ शब्द के बाद 'ed' जोड़कर दूसरे और तीसरे रूपों में बदल जाती हैं और कुछ क्रियाओं के लिए उन्हें दूसरे और तीसरे रूप में बदलने के लिए अलग शब्द बनाए जाते हैं।

From the above list of forms of verbs you will see that some verbs are converted to 2nd / 3rd forms by adding 'ed' after the word and for few verbs different words are formed to convert them to 2nd / 3rd form.

क्रिया के दूसरे और तीसरे रूप (2nd form-Past simple and 3rd form-Past Participle) के आधार पर वर्ब को दो प्रकार में बांटा गया है - Regular Verbs and Irregular Verbs.

Verbs are divided into two types based on the second and third forms of the verb - Regular Verbs and Irregular Verbs.

Regular Verbs

जिन क्रियाओं के रूपों को उसके पीछे 'ed' लगाकर बदला जा सकता है, Regular Verbs कहलाती हैं। Regular Verb को Weak Verbs के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

The forms of verbs that can be changed by putting 'ed' behind are called Regular verbs. Regular Verbs are also known as Weak Verbs. - e.g. admire - admired - admired, smile - smiled - smiled, marry - married - married.

Examples

उसने एक बैठक की योजना बनाई है।	He has planned a meeting.
कुत्ता उस पर भौंका।	The dog barked at him.
बाघ ने अपने जबड़े से आदमी को खींच लिया है।	The tiger has pulled the man from his jaw.
पुलिस ने सर्च वारंट जारी किया है।	The police have issued a search warrant.
उसने अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ दिया है।	He has delivered his best.
