Consonant 'c' के विभिन्न उच्चारण - Consonant 'C' and its associated sounds.
Consonant 'c' का उच्चारण 'स'।
जब किसी शब्द में consonant'c' के बाद यदि अक्षर 'e, i, y' में से कोई भी आए स्वर तो 'c' का उच्चारण 'स' होता है।

When in a word consonant 'c' is followed by either of the letters, 'e, i , y,' then 'c' is pronounced as 's' / 'स'. Click on the following words to understand the rule, then listen carefully, practice and speak out aloud.

Consonant 'c' का उच्चारण 'श'।
जब किसी शब्द में consonant 'c' के बाद यदि अक्षर 'ea, ia' में से कोई भी आए तो 'c' का उच्चारण कभी कभी 'श' भी होता है। व्यंजन 'c' के बाद '...ious' आए तो वहां भी 'c' का उच्चारण 'श' होता है जैसे 'delicious'.
If in any word, consonant 'c' is followed by letter combination of, ' ea, ia' then 'c' is pronounced as 'sh'. Also if '... ious' comes after the consonant 'c', then even there 'c' is pronounced 'sh' like 'delicious'.
