शब्दावली दूसरी भाषा के रूप में अंग्रेजी सीखने का एक अनिवार्य हिस्सा है। अंग्रेजी में एक सीमित शब्दावली के कारण हम अंग्रेजी पढ़कर या सुनकर भी अच्छी तरह समझ नही पाते हैं। यह हमारे संचार कौशल को भी बुरी तरह प्रभावित करता है।	Vocabulary is an essential part of learning English as a second language. Due to a limited vocabulary in English, we do not understand English very well even by reading or listening. It also affects our communication skills badly.
मान लें कि आप थोड़ा व्याकरण जानते हैं और शब्दावली ज्ञान नहीं है और सोरघम आटा खरीदने के लिए एक स्टोर पर जाते हैं। जब तक आप सटीक शब्द 'ज्वार - sourgham' नहीं कहते तब तक आप अपने व्याकरण ज्ञान के साथ क्या चाहते हैं यह नहीं बता सकते।	Suppose you know a little grammar and have no vocabulary knowledge and go to a store to buy Sorghum flour. You cannot tell what you want with your grammar knowledge until you say the exact word 'Sourgham'.
व्याकरण की तुलना में शब्दावली अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है। इसलिए, इस शब्दावली भाग को व्यावहारिक शब्दों की एक उपयोगी शब्दावली बनाने के लिए पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल किया गया है।	Vocabulary is more important than grammar. Therefore, this vocabulary part is included in the course to build a useful vocabulary of practical words.
