Making Negative and Interrogative Sentences

Let's look at the examples of simple affirmative, negative, interrogative and interrogative and negative sentences. Please click on the sentences to hear the audio. Please listen attentively and speak out aloud.
| She is punctual. | वह समय की पाबंद है। |
| Is she punctual? | क्या वह समय की पाबंद है? |
| That boy is thirsty. | वह लड़का प्यासा है। |
| Was that boy thirsty? | क्या वह लड़का प्यासा था? |
| Ramu is a faithful servant. | रामू वफ़ादार नौकर है। |
| Ramu is not a faithful servant. | रामू वफ़ादार नौकर नही है। |
| Is your maid also faithful? | क्या तुम्हारी नौकरानी भी वफ़ादार है? |
| Are you a mechanic? | क्या तुम मेकॅनिक हो? |
| I am not a mechanic. | मैं मेकॅनिक नही हूँ। |
| She is not an artist. | वह कलाकार नही है। |
| Is she not an artist? | क्या वह कलाकार नही है? |
| Mr Biswas was not my boss. | मिस्टर बिसवास मेरे साहब नही थे। |
| Was Mr Biswas a good boss? | क्या मिस्टर बिसवास अच्छे साहब थे? |
| Is my brother, your teacher? | क्या मेरा भाई आपका अध्यापक है? |
| My brother is not your teacher. | मेरा भाई तुम्हारा टीचर नही है। |
