Uses of Prepositions
अँग्रेज़ी भाषा में 100 से अधिक Prepositions हैं लेकिन तीन Prepositions - At, In & On अंग्रेजी भाषा में सबसे अधिक प्रयुक्त होती है। आइए हम इन Prepositions के विभिन्न अर्थ और उपयोग को निम्न उदाहरणों से समझें।
There are more than 100 Prepositions but three Prepositions - At, In & On are most commonly used in the English language. Let's learn the different meaning and uses of these prepositions from the following examples.
| In - for a place having some boundary (enclosed area) | ऐसा स्थान जिसकी किसी प्रकार की बाउंड्री हो |
| e.g. in a boat, in a box, in a car, in a row, in a taxi, in Delhi, in my pocket, in the garden, in the kitchen, in the newspaper, in the sky, in world. | जैसे-नाव में, डिब्बे में, कार में, लिफ्ट में, पंक्ति में, टैक्सी में, दिल्ली में, मेरी जेब में, बगीचे में, रसोईघर में, अखबार में, आकाश में, दुनिया में। |

| The ticket is in my pocket. | टिकट मेरी जेब में है। |
| She is cooking in the kitchen. | वह रसोई में खाना बना रही है। |
| Complete detail of that incident is appearing in the newspaper. | उस घटना की पूरी जानकारी अखबार में दिख रही है। |
| Kites are flying in the sky. | आसमान में पतंगें उड़ रही हैं। |
| In - for a particular time of day or month or year | दिन, महिने या साल के निश्चित समय के लिए |
| e.g. In 2012, in the next century, in the ice age, in the past, in the future, in April, In winter, In summer, in the morning, in the evening, in the afternoon. | जैसे-2012 में, अगली शताब्दी में, हिमयुग में, अतीत में, भविष्य में, अप्रैल में, सर्दियों में, गर्मियों में, सुबह में, शाम को, दोपहर में। |

| We shall celebrate the occasion in April. | हम अप्रैल में इस अवसर का जश्न मनाएंगे। |
| We should enjoy all games in winter. | हमें सर्दियों में सभी खेलों का आनंद लेना चाहिए। |
| One should try to meditate in the morning. | हर किसी को सुबह ध्यान करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। |
