Direct-Indirect Speech - Miscellaneous Sentences

Type 6

कुछ वाक्य दिखाने में Interrogative या Negative लगते है परंतु इनमें सलाह या निवेदन का भाव होता है ।

Some sentences appear to be interrogative or negative, but they contain a sense of advice or request.

Examples:

उसकी माँ ने उसको कहा, "तुम जल्दी सो क्यों नही जाते ?"	Her mother said to her, "Why don't you sleep early?"	Her mother advised her to sleep early.	उसकी माँ ने उसे सलाह दी की जल्दी सो जाये।
बुजुर्ग महिला ने कहा, "क्या आप थोड़ा सा सरकेँगे ?"	The old lady said, "Could you please move a bit?"	The old lady asked him to move a bit.	बुजुर्ग महिला ने उसको थोड़ा सा सरकने को कहा।
स्वीटी ने अपने दोस्त से कहा, "उससे झगड़ा मत करिये। वह एक गुंड़ा है।"	Sweety said to her friend, "Please don't fight with him. He is a hooligan."	Sweety requested her friend not to fight with him and further added that he was a hooligan.	स्वीटी ने अपने दोस्त से निवेदन किया को उससे झगड़ा ना करें और आगे जोड़ा की वह एक गुंड़ा था।
