Direct-Indirect Speech - Imperative Sentences

इम्पीरियल वाक्यों में कई तरह की भावनाएं होती हैं - आज्ञा, आदेश, अनुरोध, सुझाव और सलाह। Imperative Sentences को Indirect Speech में बदलने के लिए, निम्नलिखित नियमों का पालन किया जाना चाहिए:

Imperative sentences have many kinds of emotions - commands, commands, requests, suggestions and advice. To convert Imperative Sentences to Indirect Speech, the following rules should be followed:

Rule No. 1

Reporting Verb के भाव के अनुसार, 'Said To' को हटा कर Requested, Advised, Ordered, Commanded, Suggested, Warned, आदि जैसे शब्दों से बदल दिया जाता है।

According to the emotion of Reporting Verb, ‘said to’ is replaced with words like Requested, Advised, Ordered, Commanded, Suggested, Warned etc.

Rule No. 2

शब्द Please और Kindly और किसी चीज पर ज़ोर देने के लिये Reported Speech में प्रयुक्त शब्द 'Do', अप्रत्यक्ष कथन में नही रखे जाते क्योंकी Reporting Verb के परिवर्तित शब्द "Request/Requests/Requested" में यह भाव पहले ही निहित है ।

कभी कभी Imperative Sentence के साथ Tag Question जुड़ा होता है । इसे भी Indirect Speech में नही रखा जाता है ।

If the reporting sentence contains words like 'please' or 'please', they are not retained in Indirect Speech as this expression is already contained in the changed word "Request / Requested" in the Reporting Verb.

Sometimes Tag Question is added with the Imperative Sentence. It is also not kept in the Indirect Speech.

Rule No. 3

Imperative sentences में, Comma (,) और Inverted Commas ("...") को हटा दिया जाता है और Conjunction शब्द 'To' का प्रयोग वाक्य के दोनों भागों को जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है।

In Imperative sentences, Comma (,) and Inverted Commas ("...") are removed and a Conjunction word 'To' is used to join both parts of the sentence.
