Passive Voice of Past Indefinite Tense
The above Rules explain the following points:
| Past Indefinite के नकारात्मक और प्रश्नात्मक Active Voice वाक्यों में, हम Did का उपयोग करते हैं, लेकिन इसे Passive Voice वाक्य बनाने के लिए, हम केवल सहायक क्रिया 'Was/Were' का उपयोग करते हैं | In Active Voice of Present Indefinite Negative and Interrogative sentences we use Do/Does, but for making Passive Voice sentences of it, we use only helping verbs - 'Is/Am/Are' |
| नकारात्मक वाक्य में, सहायक क्रियाओं के बाद 'Not' को जोड़ा जाता है और प्रश्नात्मक वाक्यों में सहायक क्रिया से वाक्य शुरू होता है। | In a Negative sentence, 'Not' is added after helping verbs and in Interrogative sentence the sentence begins with an helping verb. |
| सभी प्रकार के वाक्यों में - सकारात्मक, नकारात्मक और प्रश्नवाचक, क्रिया की 3rd फॉर्म का प्रयोग Passive Voice में किया जाता है। | In all types of sentences - Positive, Negative & Interrogative, 3rd form of the verb is used in Passive Voice. |
Look at the following examples:

| उसने साँप को मारा। | She killed a snake. | A snake was killed by her. | साँप उसके द्वारा मारा गया। |
| विद्यार्थिओं ने अपना होमवर्क पूरा नही किया। | The students did not complete their homework. | Their homework was not completed by the students. | अपना होमवर्क विद्यार्थिओ द्वारा पूरा नही किया गया। |
| भारत ने भूतकाल म़ें गरीब देशों की मदद की। | India helped poor countries in past. | Poor countries were helped by India in past. | गरीब देशों की मदद भारत द्वारा भूतकाल म़ें की गई। |
| सचिन तेंदुलकर ने क्रिकेट से सन्यास लेना चुना। | Sachin Tendulkar opted retirement from cricket. | Retirement from cricket was opted by Sachin Tendulkar. | क्रिकेट से सन्यास सचिन तेंदुलकर द्वारा चुना गया। |
| क्या उसने सही निर्णय लिया ? | Did he make a wise decision? | Was a wise decision made by him? | क्या सही निर्णय उसके द्वारा लिया गया? |
| उसने खेल को बहुत दिया। | He gave so much to the game. | The game was given so much by him. | खेल को उसके द्वारा बहुत दिया गया। |
| उसने गरीब विध्यार्थी की स्कूल फीस जमा की। | He deposited school fees of the poor student. | School fees of the poor student were deposited by him. | गरीब विध्यार्थी की स्कूल फीस उसके द्वारा जमा की गई। |
| किरीट आदित्य ने मुझे पूरी इज्जत दी। | Kirit Aditya gave me full respect. | I was given full respect by Kirit Aditya. | मुझे पूरी इज्जत किरीट आदित्य द्वारा दी गई। |
