Subject-Verb Agreement - Rules:
Agreement में कई नियम हैं। हम आवश्यक नियमों का नीचे वर्णन कर रहे हैं। कृपया अंग्रेजी को बेहतर ढंग से सीखने के लिए नियमों को बार-बार पढ़ें और समझें।
There are several Rules in the Agreement. We describe below the essential Rules. Please read and understand the rules, again and again, to learn English better.
| 5. जब अलग-अलग पर्सन के दो या अधिक सब्जेक्ट्स को एक वाक्य में (or, either…or, neither…nor) से जोड़ा जाता है, तो हम वर्ब से तुरंत पहले आए सब्जेक्ट के अनुसार वर्ब का प्रयोग करते हैं। | When two or more subjects of different persons are joined by the words (or, either…or, neither…nor) in a sentence, we use the verb as per the subject that comes just before it. |
| या तो आप या मंजुला जवाबदेह हैं। | Either you or Manjula is answerable. |
| न तो वह और न ही मैं उसका उपद्रव बर्दाश्त करने जा रहा हूं। | Neither she nor I am going to tolerate his nuisance. |
| वह या वे ट्रेन से जा रहे हैं। | She or they are going by train. |
| या तो आपकी प्रिंसिपल या आपकी माँ को आपकी सफलता का श्रेय मिलना है। | Either your principal or your mother is to get the credit of your success. |
| 6. जब दो Subjects को एक वाक्य में (Not only...but also) से जोड़ा जाता है, तो हम वर्ब से तुरंत पहले आए सब्जेक्ट के अनुसार वर्ब का प्रयोग करते हैं। | When two subjects are joined by the words (Not only...but also) in a sentence, we use the verb as per the subject that comes just before it. |
| न केवल वे बल्कि वह भी अपने स्कूल के वार्षिक समारोह का आनंद ले रहे थे। | Not only they but also she was enjoying annual function of their school. |
| केवल प्रोफेसर ही नहीं बल्कि सभी छात्र औपचारिक वर्दी में थे। | Not only the professors but all the students were in formal uniform. |
| न केवल अव्यन बल्कि वर्तिका ने भी बोलना शुरू कर दिया है। | Not only Avyan but also Vartika has started speaking. |
| न केवल किसान बल्कि अधिकारी भी इस पर तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे हैं | Not only farmers but also the executives are demanding immediate action on |
| 7. जब दो अलग-अलग एकवचन विषय 'And' से जुड़े होते हैं, तो हम बहुवचन क्रिया का उपयोग करते हैं। | When two different singular subjects are connected with 'And', we use a plural verb. |
| सीता और गीता असली बहनें हैं। | Sita and Gita are real sisters. |
| सीता और गीता एक प्रसिद्ध फिल्म है। | Sita and Gita is a famous movie. |
| अव्यन और वर्तिका बहुत शरारती हो गए हैं। | Avyan and Vartika have become very naughty. |
| कनिका और उसकी माँ बात करने में बहुत होशियार हैं। | Kanika and her mother are very smart in talking. |
