8. Distributive Pronoun

Distributive Pronoun व्यक्तियों या वस्तुओं को एक एक करके या समूह में सामूहिक रूप के बजाए अलग से संबोधित करते हैं। Distributive Pronoun हैं - Each, either, neither, everyone. ज़्यादातर Distributive Pronoun Indefinite Pronoun भी है।

Distributive Pronouns refer to persons or things taken as single or in groups separately rather than collectively. Distributive Pronouns are - Each, either, neither, everyone. Most of the Distributive Pronouns are Indefinite Pronoun also.

Examples:

प्रत्येक को उपहार दिया गया था।	Everyone was given a prize.
हर एक अपनी आपत्ति दर्ज कराना चाहता था।	Each wanted to register his protest.
तुम में से किसी को भी प्रमोशन नही मिल रही है।	Neither of you is getting promotion.
दोनो भाइयों में से कोई एक मेडिकल प्रवेश परिक्षा में पास हुआ था।	Either of the two brothers was through in medical entrance exams.

Difference between Distributive Pronoun and Indefinite Pronoun

Distributive Pronoun व्यक्तियों या वस्तुओं को एक समय में एक को इंगित करते हैं। Distributive Pronoun आमतौर पर सिंगुलर होते हैं। जबकि Indefinite Pronoun उन व्यक्तियों या वस्तुओं को इंगित करते हैं जिनकी सधारणत: संख्या ज्ञात नही होती और वे सिंगुलर होते हैं और प्लुरल भी।

Distributive Pronouns refer to persons or things taken one at a time. Distributive Pronouns are usually singular. Whereas Indefinite Pronouns refer to persons or things whose number is generally not known and they are singular as well as plural pronouns.

Examples:

हम में से हर एक ने फिल्म देखी। - यहाँ Every one एक Indefinite Pronoun है क्योंकि यह 'हम में से हर एक' को दर्शाता है और 'हम में से कोई भी' निश्चित नहीं है।	Every one of us saw the movie. - Here Every one is an Indefinite Pronoun as it is denoting 'every one of us' and 'number of us' is not certain.
सभी लोग बैठक में भाग ले रहे हैं। - यहाँ Everyone एक Indefinite Pronoun है क्योंकि संख्या ज्ञात नहीं है।	Everyone is attending the meeting. - Here Everyone is an Indefinite pronoun as the number is not known.
सभी के पास एक उपहार है। - यहां Everyone एक Distributive Pronoun है क्योंकि यह एक समूह को दर्शा रहा है।	Everyone has a gift. - Here Everyone is a Distributive Pronoun as it is denoting a group.
