Translation Exercise: Modals - Can-Could-May-Might

Some sentences for translation practice are given below. Translate them into Hindi⇄English and write the answers in the empty box provided. Then check it by pressing the "Show Answer" button.

अनुवाद अभ्यास के लिए कुछ वाक्य नीचे दिए गए हैं। उन्हें हिंदी⇄अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद करें और दिए गए खाली बॉक्स में उत्तर लिखें। फिर "Show Answer" बटन दबाकर इसे जांचें।

Reading is easy, but when we write or translate, we have to remember the rules for making sentences. That is why it is said, "Practice sharpens our mind, and it helps to understand and learn subjects well".

पढ़ना आसान है, लेकिन जब हम लिखते हैं या अनुवाद करते हैं, तो हमें वाक्य बनाने के नियमों को याद रखना होता है. इसीलिए कहा जाता है, "अभ्यास हमारे दिमाग को तेज करता है, और यह विषय को अच्छी तरह समझने व सीखने में मदद करता है"।

TRANSLATE SENTENCES INTO HINDI⇄ENGLISH

49 By next Monday, I might have completed my assignment.

50 By next Monday, I may have completed my assignment.

51 He may have missed the train (There is a possibility).

52 He might have missed the train (There is least possibility).

53 The computer might be working now (There is least possibility)

54 The plumber may be working now.


55 असफलता के लिये उसे दोष दिया जा सकता है। (सम्भावना है)

56 असफलता के लिये उसे दोष दिया जा सकता है। (बहुत कम सम्भावना है)

57 वह शायद आपत्ति करे।

58 वह शायद ही आपत्ति करे।

59 तुम May/Might के प्रयोग शायद समझ गये होंगे (सम्भावना है)

60 तुम May/Might के प्रयोग शायद ही समझे होंगे (बहुत कम सम्भावना है)
