Present Indefinite (Simple) Tense

Habitual action or daily routine

हम Present Indefinite Tense का उपयोग आदत या दैनिक दिनचर्या के कार्यों को व्यक्त करने के लिए करते हैं। ऐसे वाक्यों में daily, everyday, every week, always, never, sometimes, आदि जैसे शब्द आते हैं।

We use the Present Indefinite Tense to express habitual or daily routine tasks. The words like daily, everyday, every week, always, never, sometimes, etc. comes in such sentences.
Examples:

वह दिन में कभी झपकी नहीं लेता। He never takes a nap during the daytime.
ये मुर्गियाँ रोज एक अंडा देती हैं। These chickens lay one egg daily.
वह हमेशा सच बोलती है। She always tells the truth.
वह बहुत बार आता है। He comes very often.

Planned near future action

हम निकट भविष्य में घटित होने वाले actions को व्यक्त करने लिए Present Indefinite Tense का प्रयोग करते हैं।

We use the Present Indefinite Tense to express planned near future actions.
Examples:

मेरा स्कूल जुलाई के महीने में खुलता है। My school opens in the month of July.
अगले महीने मेरा जन्मदिन आता है। My birthday comes off next month.
उसका अगले महीने लंदन जाने का इरादा है। She intends to go to London next month.
वह परसों पहुंच रही है। She reaches here day after tomorrow.
मैं 30 जून को रिटायर हो रहा हूं। I retire on 30th June.

Changing of Sentences - Positive Sentence >> Negative Sentence >> Interrogative Sentence

Positive Sentence Negative Sentence Interrogative Sentence
I go to the temple every day. I do not go to the temple every day. Do I go to the temple every day?
He completes his homework daily. He does not complete his homework daily. Does he complete his homework daily?
He studies in seventh class. He does not study in seventh class. Does he study in seventh class?
His sisters go to college daily. His sisters do not go to college daily. Do his sisters go to college daily?
Their sister also goes to college daily. Their sister also does not go to college daily. Does their sister also go to college daily?
Teachers, in our school, monitor the growth of every student. Teachers, in our school, do not monitor the growth of every student. Do teachers, in our school, monitor the growth of every student?
Girls love to gossip. Girls do not love to gossip. Do girls love to gossip?
I want to help the poor boy. I do not want to help the poor boy. Do I want to help the poor boy?
He works very hard. He does not work very hard. Does he work very hard?
Teachers also support him. Teachers also do not support him. Do teachers also support him?
