Causative Verbs

Causative Verb: Have

'Have' कॉज़ेटिव वर्ब के रूप में इंगित करता है कि कर्ता कुछ काम उसके लिए करने के लिए किसी को जिम्मेदारी या निर्देश देना चाहता है। कर्ता उस काम करने वाले तीसरे व्यक्ति को शायद जानता हो या न जानता हो, लेकिन वह काम करता है।

'Have' as a Causative Verb indicates that the Subject wants to assign responsibility or instruct someone to do something for him. The Subject may or may not know the third person who does that work, but he does the work.

Rule : Subject + Have/Had + Person + Verb (1st form) + Object/Remaining.

अव्यन अपनी मां से खाना परोस्वाएगा।
(यहां अव्यन अपनी मां से कार्य करवा रहा है। 'Serve' क्रिया की बेस फॉर्म है)
Avyan will have his mother serve him food.
(Here Avyan is making his mother do the action. 'Serve' is a base form of the verb)

मैं अपने बेटे करण से कार धुलवाउंगा।
(इस वाक्य में 'Have' के बाद 'मेरा बेटा करण' आया है जिसे काम करने का निर्देश दिया जाएगा।)
I will just have my son Karan wash the car.
(In this sentence 'Have' is followed by 'my son Karan' who will be asked to carry out the job.)

Note: Causative Verb के रूप में, हम Present Tense में 'Have' का उपयोग करते हैं और Past Tense में 'Had' का। हम 'Has' का उपयोग Causative Verb के रूप में नहीं करते हैं। हम Infinitive 'to' का भी उपयोग Causative Verb 'Have' के बाद नहीं करते हैं।

As a Causative Verb, we use 'Have' in Present Tense and 'Had' in Past Tense. We do not use 'Has' as Causative Verb. We also do not use Infinitive 'to' after Causative Verb 'Have'.
