37th Day - We have learnt about Verb and its agreement with Subject. Today we will learn about Causative Verbs - Have, Get, Make, Cause, Let and their usages.
It is important to know about the Causative Verbs and interesting to learn the various uses of Causative verbs.

Causative Verb

Causative verb indicates that the subject does not perform the action or event but rather takes help or forces another person to perform that action or event. In simple words, In English there are three persons (Ist person - I,we, 2nd person - you and third person - he, she, it, Ram). When Ist person does not perform the action himself rather he is asking or forcing or managing others to perform that action, we use Causative Verbs.

kaaranavaachak kriya yah bataatee hai ki karta svayan pratyaksh roop se kaary nahin karata apitu kisee doosare vyakti kee sahaayata leta hai ya us vyakti par kaary karane ke lie dabaav daalata hai. saral shabdon mein, angrejee mein teen vyakti hote hain (pratham vyakti - main, ham, doosara vyakti - aap aur teesara vyakti - vah, yah, raam). jab pahalee vyakti khud kaarravaee nahin karata hai vah us kaarravaee ko karane ke lie doosaron se kah raha hai ya majaboor kar raha hai ya kushalata se kaam karva raha hai, tab ham causative verb ka upayog karte hain.

In other words, it shows that an external factor (somebody or something) is indirectly responsible for an action. A causative verb can be in any tense and is followed by an Object and a verb form which can be infinitive or a participle and describes the resulting action the subject has got done.

doosare shabdon mein, yah bataata hai kee kaary ke liye apratyaksh roop se baaharee tatva (koi vyakti ya koi vastu) jimmedaar hai. ek kaarak kriya kisee bhee tense mein ho sakatee hai aur usake baad object aur ek kriya aatee hai jo infinitive ya participle ho sakatee hai aur karta ke dvaara ki gai karavaee ke parinaam ka varnan karatee hai.

Causative verbs, make, let and have are mostly followed by a base form of verb. These words can also be followed by present and past participles.

Kaaranapoorn kriyaen, make, let aur have ke baad varb kee base form aatee hain. In shabdon ke baad present aur past participle bhee aa sakata hai. aaiye nimnalikhit box ko dekhen jo mool kriya aur causative kriya kee vaakya sanrachana mein antar dikhaata hai:
