Passive Voice of Imparatives

A sentence that issues a request or gives a command or expresses a desire or wish is called an Imperative sentence. Imperative sentences are addressed without naming the subject. Hence these sentences are without Subject and starts with the Principal Verb.

Sentences have different types of emotions - Order, Command, Request, Suggestion and Advise. In Passive Voice of Imperative Sentence, we use different wordings with the Subject as per the emotions of the sentence.

Vah vaakya jisame praarthanaa, aadesh, updesh ho yaa koi ichchhaa vyakt kee ho, Aadeshaatmak Vaakya kahlaataa hai. Aadeshaatmak vaakya subject kaa naam liye bagair sambodhit karate hai isliye Subject iname nahee hotaa aur yah mukhya Verb se shuru hotaa hai.

Imperative vaakya meiN alag alag bhaav hote hai - Aadesh, Praarthanaa, Sujhaav, Salaah ityaadee. Inakaa Passive Voice banaane meN vaakya meiN prayukt bhaav ke anusaar Kartaa ke saath alag shabdoN kaa prayog kiyaa jaataa hai.

Request Verb (Ist Form) + Object + (.) You are requested to + Verb (Ist form)+ Object
Advice Verb (Ist Form) + Object. You are advised to + Verb (Ist form)+ Object
Suggestion Verb (Ist Form) + Object + (.) Convert Object to Subject + Should + Be + Verb (3rd form)

Co-passenger requests other passenger in bus You are requested to open the window. Aapase khiDakee kholane kaa anuroadh kiyaa jaataa hai.
Doctor advises the patient You are advised to open the window. Aapako khiDakee kholane kee salaah dee jaatee hai.
Visitor suggests the patient The window should be opened. KhiDakee ko khulee rakhanee chaahiye.

Tumhaare maataa-pitaa kaa kahanaa maano. Obey your parents. You are advised to obey your parents. Tumako tumhaare maataa-pitaa kaa kahanaa maanane kee salaah dee jaatee hai.
Yah mat karo. Don't do this. You are requested not to do this. Tumhe yah naa karane kee salaah dee jaatee hai.
DoshiyoN ko sajaa do. Punish the culprits. Let the culprits be punished. DoshioN ko sajaa dee jaaye.
Kisee ko andar jhaankane kee ijaajat mat do. Don't allow anybody to peep inside . You are ordered not to allow anybody to peep inside. Aapako kisee ko andar jhaankane kee ijaajat naa dene kaa aadesh diyaa jaataa hai.
Tumhaaree fees jamaa karo. Pay your fees. Let your fees be paid today. Tumhaaree fees aaj jamaa kar dee jaaye.
Kripayaa meree seat se khaDe ho jaao. Please stand up from my seat. You are requested to stand up from my seat. Aapase meree seat se khaDe hone kaa anuroadh kiyaa jaataa hai.
Hameshaaa gareebo kee madad karo. Always help the poor. Let the poor be helped always. Gareebo kee madad hameshaa kee jaaye.
Dhumrapaan mat karo. Don't smoke. You are advised not to smoke. Aapako dhumrapaan naa karane kee salaah dee jaatee hai.
Use tang mat karo. Don't disturb her. You are requested not to disturb her. Aapase use tang naa karane kee praarthanaa kee jaatee hai.
Usakee taraf dobaaraa mat ghoornaa. Don't stare at her again. You are warned not to stare at her again. Tumhe usakee taraf dobaaraa naa ghoorane kee chetaavnee dee jaatee hai.
Apanee patnee ko pyaar karo. Love your wife. Your wife should be loved. Apanee patnee se pyaar kiyaa jaaye.
Jaldee uTho. Get up early. You are requested to get up early. Aapase jaldee uThane kaa anuroadh kiyaa jaataa hai.
Saavdhaan raho. Be careful. You are advised to be careful. Aapako saavdhaan rahane kee salaah dee jaatee hai.
