13th Day - Today we shall learn about Future Indefinite Tense. Sentences to express an action which has yet not happened and will occur/happen after sometime in future.

Type of Sentence Rule
Interrogative Will/Shall + Subject + Verb (Ist form) + Object + (?)
Interrogative & Negative Will/Shall + Subject + Not + Verb (Ist form) + Object + (?)

Interrogative sentence of Future Indefinite Tense starts with 'Will/Shall'. Ist form of verb is used in all types of sentences of Future Indefinite. Question Mark (?) is affixed at the end of sentence in place of Full Stop (.). In Interrogative and Negative Sentence, 'Not' is added just before verb(Ist Form).

फ्यूचर इन्डेफिनेट इंटेरोगेटिव वाक्य 'Will/Shall' से शुरू होते हैं और वर्ब की फर्स्ट फ़ॉर्म इस्तेमाल होती है । वाक्य के अंत में फुल स्टॉप (.) की जगह प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) लगाते है । इसके प्रश्नवाचक और नकारात्मक वाक्य में 'Not' वर्ब से पहले आता है ।

Ist person Shall I not leave India before next month?
Ist Person -Plural Shall we not leave India before next month?
2nd Person Will you not leave India before next month?
3rd Person -Singular Will he/she/it/Ram not leave India before next month?

Examples:

वाक्य Sentence
तुम्हारी मम्मी आज तुम्हें लंच देगी । Your mother will give you lunch today.
वह परसों गुजरात जायेगी । She will go to Gujarat day after tomorrow.
मैं तुम्हारे बेटे का ध्यान रखूंगा । I shall take care of your son.
मेरी अनुपस्थिति में वह धाड़ मार के (फूट फूट कर) रोयेगी । She will weep bitterly in my absence.
राज मेरी किताब नही चुरायेगा । Raj will not steal my book.
वह तुम्हें टांग देगा । He will hang you.
हम सर्दियों में कोट पहनेंगे । We shall wear coat during winter.
क्या तुम तैरने जाओगे? Will you go to swim?
मैं उसका नाम नही पूछूंगा । I shall not ask his name.
क्या तुम चले जाओगे? Will you go away?
क्या वह बाज़ार नही जायेगा? Will he not go to market?
वह मुझसे कुछ नही छिपाएगी । He will not hide anything from me.
क्या तुम मुझसे बात नही करोगे? Will you not talk with me?

Future Indefinte Tense is also used in the following situations:

A Future events which happen in normal course

ऐसी भविष्य की घटनांये जो सामान्य रूप से घटित होंगी ।

सर्दी दुबारा आयेगी । Winter will come again.
लोग खायेंगे और मौज करेंगे । People will eat and enjoy.
चिड़ियाएँ अपने घोंसलें बनाएंगी । Birds will build their nests.

B Normally present indefinite tense is used to express present habit or things which always happen, but sometimes future indefinite tense is also used when emphasis is more on subject than verb.

वर्तमान काल की आदत व्यक्त करने के लिये या कोई क्रिया हमेशा होती है यह बताने के लिये नॉर्मली सामान्य वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग होता है परंतु कभी कभी सामान्य भविष्य काल का भी प्रयोग किया जाता है जब क्रिया की अपेक्षा कर्ता की विशेषता पर ज्यादा जोर हो ।

वह सिर्फ अपने पिता जी की ही सुनेगा । He will listen only to his father.
जॉन उसकी माँ की कभी नही सुनेगा । John will never listen to his mother.
वह मेरे सवाल का कभी जवाब नही देगा । He will never answer my question.

C Future actions can be expressed by present tense also

वर्तमान के वाक्यो के द्वारा भी फ्यूचर एक्शन्स को बताया जा सकता है ।

प्रेसिडेंट कल गुजरात जा रहे हैं । The President visits Gujarat tomorrow.
गुप्ता जी 31 जनवरी को रिटायर हो रहे है । Gupta jee retires on 31st January.
हम आज शाम को मिल रहे हैं / मिलेंगे । We are meeting today in the evening.

Use of Will be / shall be : 'Be' is a verb also and its three forms are - Be, Was/Were & Been. To express possibility of something also, 'will be/shall be' is used.

'Be' एक वर्ब भी है जिसका अर्थ है 'होना' और इसकी तीन फ़ॉर्म है - Be, Was/Were & Been । किसी संभावना को व्यक्त करने के लिये भी 'Will be/Shall be' का प्रयोग किया जा सकता है । इसके बाकी प्रयोग भी निम्न प्रकार किये जाते हैं ।

प्रशांत अभी ऑफिस में होगा । Prashant will be in office now.
जॉन के पिता जी अभी घर पर होंगे । John's father will be at home now.
इस बार सर्दी बहुत ठंडी होगी । This winter will be very cold.
इंदोर में मकान की कीमत सस्ती होगी । House cost will be less in Indore.
कल सोमवार है । Tomorrow will be Monday.
अगले जन्म दिवस पेर मंजुला 50 की होगी । Manjula will be fifty on next birthday.
प्रवीण भाई अगस्त में साठ के हो जायेंगे । Praveen Bhai will be sixty in August.
हम अव्यन से मिलकर खुश होंगे । We shall be happy to meet Avyan.
